How to Request and Download PolSAR SLC Data

In order to request single-look complex (SLC) files, you must be logged into your UAVSAR account with a registered email. If you do not have an account, please create one here.

PolSAR SLC files are stored for 1 month after a product is released. Keep in mind that each of the four SLC data files will be approximately 72 times larger than the ShhShh* slant range file and will be in a complex floating point format.

If you see the link "Please click here to download SLC data" near the bottom of a PolSAR data download page, that means the SLC data is available for immediate access. Click on that link to receive an email containing a link to the URL for downloading the requested SLC files. Another way to access the SLC download link is by clicking on the Download Requested SLC Files link in your UAVSAR account page.

If you see the link "Please click here to regenerate SLC data" link, that means that the data must be reprocessed to provide the SLC data files for you. The link will take you to a page where you will need to fill out a reason for your request, which will be approved or rejected. After SLC files have been reprocessed, an email will be sent when the SLC data is available for download. The data will be reprocessed when processing resources allow it; please allow 2 weeks for SLC availability, unless otherwise notified.
