Flight Summary

Greenland
Thule local flight, main flight plan is 1047_v02 (lines 1-7). Planned at takeoff to collect one line (23100) from 1045_v03 which would have been line 8, but decided not to attempt it midflight. Planned on picked up two missed lines from flight plan 1289_v01 (lines 9 and 10 here). On the first attempt at line 1, the DAC and ADC channel 2 lost synchronization. A hard (power state 2) reset was performed before the next line, and line 1 was re-attempted successfully after collecting lines 2 and 3. Roll oscillation on lines 2 and 5 seem inconsistent with mild crosswind and small crab angle. Apparently, the same kind of roll oscillation occurred on those lines on the last OMG deployment. Ron suspects an oversight in the PPA where R_Earth should be R_Earth*cos(latitude), causing this issue only at high latitudes for headings near 0 degrees North. Succeeded in picking up the two missed lines from flight plan 1289_v01. The DGPS archive for this flight is DGPS_14800.tar.gz.
