Flight Plan ID 302_v01
Flight Summary
Gulf Oil Spill 9/12 lines (PI: C. Jones) and transit from Pensacola to Ellington Field.
It was an exciting flight. Line order was changed to 3, 2, 5, 6, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9 due to heavy t-storm activities in the area. We've tried to obtain all the high priority lines but was not able to collect line 1. Aircraft popped out of the tube a few times during the 1st run of line 5 but it was repeated without any issues. Aircraft was out of the tube during line 7 and the radar stopped transmitting toward the end of the line. Due to fuel constrains, we were not able to repeat line 7.
